Glenn Rasmussen Fogarty & Hooker Presents Litigation Savings Seminar to ACC West Central Florida Chapter

TAMPA, Fla. - Timothy A. Andreu, Michael B. Colgan, and Michael S. Hooker, shareholders in the Commercial Litigation practice group of Glenn Rasmussen Fogarty & Hooker, P.A., presented "Litigation in the New Economy: Saving Money Without Compromising Results" on May 20, 2010 to Association of Corporate Counsel West Central Florida Chapter (ACC WCFL) members. The seminar reviewed the litigation process, from prevention to trial, and the ways corporate counsel can assist in controlling the budget and avoiding many unnecessary costs. 

Mike Hooker is a 28-year business litigator.  He is Past President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of The Federal Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and is currently President of the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation.  He was also recently elected to The Florida Bar Board of Governors, representing the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Seat 4.

Mike Colgan is a Board Certified Business Litigation Lawyer as well as a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer who has been practicing for more than 35 years and limits his practice to those specialty areas and to complex litigation matters.  He is an elected member of the American Law Institute, where he has served as a consulting member of the Restatements of Torts, Restitution, the Law Governing Lawyers, and the Complex Litigation Project.   Mike is a former Adjunct Professor of Law (Trial Practice) at Stetson University College of Law, and has served on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. Mike is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, as well as other peer selection publications.  He is a Master in the J. Clifford Cheatwood American Inn of Court. 

Tim Andreu has litigated a variety of business cases since 1985.  He is AV Peer Review Rated in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®.  He is a Master in The Tampa Bay American Inn of Court.
