Named after the late Judge Carr, it is the highest award presented by the Federal Bar Association's Tampa Bay Chapter. The award recognizes excellence in federal practice and distinguished service to the Federal Bar Association.
Mike has practiced in the area of commercial litigation since 1981. He has extensive experience in business tort litigation, products liability cases, trade regulation, breach of contract, and general commercial litigation. He has also written and lectured on civil litigation topics, particularly matters involving federal civil procedure. Mike has served as past president of both the Federal Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He is AV Rated in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and named one of The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation. Mike holds an undergraduate degree with High Distinction from the University of Virginia, a master's degree from Indiana University, and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
